So here at VerveVA HQ, we are busying away like little festive elves, preparing for our Ladies Christmas Charity Luncheon.
We really are going to Eat, Drink and be Merry whilst raising money for some really worthwhile causes!
Which Charity?
When we host this annual event, there are always a few charities that we choose to support as they are close to our hearts in some way. However, we also felt this year that we needed to support ‘outside the box’.
Given the way of the world currently, we need to focus on the effects this has on the vulnerable. It’s so easy to become consumed by bills and the cost of living. There is so much more happening that we just don’t see.
We are lucky!
Many of these charities go unnoticed and rely heavily on events like this.
My CWA, formerly known as Cheshire Without Abuse. Are a Cheshire-based charity supporting families affected by domestic abuse.
The Christie Saving lives. Making breakthroughs. Holding hands. Wiping tears. Lifting spirits. Raising funds. Ringing bells. Beating cancer.
Handy Ladies Feeding the Community started during Covid as a way of helping their existing vulnerable clients that they clean for.
Let’s ensure together that everyone has a little joy this Christmas!
